The Open Home Pro® application (the “Application”), among other things, collects and maintains personal information. This Privacy Policy is designed to explain how HomeFinder.com, LLC (“Open Home Pro”) collects, uses and discloses personal information of prospective, current, and former users of the Application. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Open Home Pro does not own or control, or to individuals that Open Home Pro does not employ or manage. Please review this Privacy Policy, which governs your use of the Application, to understand its practices. By using the Application, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Open Home Pro collects and stores any information you enter in the Application or provide to Open Home Pro in any other way. The two primary types of personal information Open Home Pro collects from you include:
The primary reasons Open Home Pro collects personal information are to (1) validate and authenticate your identity, (2) provide products and services that you have requested, (3) promote products and services to you, (4) contact you regarding your use of the Application, such as surveys and other research methods, (5) to contact you by email regarding account status, changes to any account agreement, and/or to confirm account registration. In addition, if you provide your email address or other contact information in connection with a request for product information, Open Home Pro, an advertiser, affiliate, partner and/or other third party or parties, as applicable, may use that information to contact you, (6) To improve your user experience and/or to measure interest in various areas of the Application, (7) to manage Open Home Pro relationships with Affiliates, customers, and other third parties to which Open Home Pro may disclose personally identifiable information pursuant to this Privacy Policy, and (8) To facilitate site administration, analysis, research, reporting, development, optimization and other internal purposes, including, without limitation, to compile Usage Data.
To use certain features of the Application, you will need to submit certain information of your customers, such as names, email addresses, and real estate preferences (“Customer Data”). Open Home Pro will not steal, market, sell, or share with any other party your Customer Data, unless required to by law or regulation. Your Customer Data is kept confidential. Only authorized Open Home Pro personnel have access to view Customer Data for customer service and abuse-monitoring purposes.
Open Home Pro may provide your personal information to third parties under the following circumstances:
You may request deletion of your Open Home Pro account by sending an email requesting account deletion to support@openhomepro.com. Please note that some information may remain in Open Home Pro’s records after deletion of your account.
You may also opt-out of receiving commercial emails from Open Home Pro by following the opt-out instructions included in every commercial email Open Home Pro may send. You may also opt-out by sending a written request to support@openhomepro.com.
If you need to update or correct any information you previously submitted to Open Home Pro, please send an email to support@openhomepro.com with your updated or corrected information.
Access to your Open Home Pro account is unique to the device on which you originally downloaded the Application and created your account. It is important that you ensure there is no unauthorized access to or use of your device on which you have installed and created an account for Open Home Pro in order to prevent unwanted access to your account, including your personal information and Customer Data. Accordingly, Open Home Pro cannot guarantee the security of your account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of your personal information and Customer Data at any time.
Open Home Pro uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, and related technology to support the Application and its related services. Open Home Pro restricts access to your personal information and Customer Data only to those Open Home Pro employees, affiliates or partners who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.
Open Home Pro also takes special steps to protect your information via transmission over the internet by using a secure web server, which allows the Application to interact with Open Home Pro’s web server via an encrypted session. Open Home Pro employs an industry standard encrypted connection between your device running the Application and Open Home Pro’s web server. The encrypted connection scrambles ordinary text or data into cyphertext to safeguard sensitive information during its journey across the internet. The information is decrypted, or put back into a readable format, when it reaches its intended destination. Though Open Home Pro uses industry standard encryption to protect your information, failure or error in encryption and interception by third parties remain possible, and by submitting information to Open Home Pro you assume the risks of these and other unintended consequences.
As business changes, Open Home Pro may need to revise its privacy practices. If Open Home Pro makes any material changes to this Privacy Policy, it will notify all users (and former users or non-users, if affected by the change) by posting the changes to www.openhomepro.com/privacy, and you will again have the opportunity to opt-out of having your information handled in accordance with the new policy.
Open Home Pro may make minor changes to this Privacy Policy by posting the revised policy. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy from time to time to review any changes in the information handling practices. Users are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she uses the Application after such changes have been first posted.
